I’m Older Now

I know that every song on the album sounds like a relationship song, But there are more to relationships than just ones between a man and a woman.

Track 4 from the EP “Where To Begin
Words & Music by Noella Choi (CASH)

…………………………………………………………………

…………………………………………………………………

I’m older now.
But I don’t feel much smarter than
I should know.

All that I’ve learned
Still I fear I’ll make the same
mistakes again.
It never ends.

Now I just go on
as if nothing is wrong.
A lie I tell myself.
The pain and regrets
They won’t let me be.

When I think of you,
I’m right back at the very start
when we were young
and just begun.

Though time has gone by
But it doesn’t change a thing.
We tried our best.
We had our chance.

Now I just go on
as if nothing is wrong.
A lie I tell myself.
The pain and regrets
They won’t let me be.

Tell me…
It’s over now… oh…
It’s over now…

I’m older now.
But I don’t feel much smarter than
But I should know.

Now I just go on
as if nothing is wrong.
A lie I tell myself.
The pain and regrets
They won’t let me be.

Let me be…
But only time will tell
When the pain and regrets
will ever let me be.

Tomorrow Can Wait

This is probably my favourite track on the album.

Track 6 from the EP “Where To Begin
Words & Music by Noella Choi (CASH)

…………………………………………………………………

…………………………………………………………………

So many reasons we shouldn’t be here.
You make it hard to refuse.
Logic suspends whenever you’re near.
Ya I know that’s just an excuse.

Lie here for a little while.
And colour that faded smile.
Oh please, let’s just stay this way
Tomorrow can wait.
Tomorrow can wait.

Why did you come here and knock on my door
When you know that I’ll let you in.
'Cause it just leaves us wanting more
In the end nobody wins.

Intertwined in our embrace.
Letting go is the hardest part.
But we soon will have to face
The truth in our hearts.
The truth in our hearts, oh

I’m coming back down
I’m coming back down
onto the ground
I’m coming back down
I’m coming back down
onto the ground

Oh..    Oh…

All we do is cheat ourselves.
When we hide the truth so well
We both know how far we fell.
Now it’s time to land.  It’s time to end it.

I’m coming back down
I’m coming back down
onto the ground
I’m coming back down
I’m coming back down
onto the ground

Oh..    Oh…
Onto the ground

Impossible

"We all have those impossible people in our lives, but we still love them. This is still one of my favourites. I can really rock out with raw emotions when I sing it."

I have told you many times
Why can’t you listen when I say?
You just go on spinning your stories
Like a broken record playing all day long.
Can’t you sing another song?

I have tried so many times
But you get angry easily.
And amid all the frustration
Well we say things we know we don’t mean to say.
But we say it anyway.

(Are you listening?)
I, oh, I feel I’ve disappeared.
Now I don’t know where to go from here.
Why do you make it?
Why do you make it
So Impossible?
Impossible to love you.

Now we’re sitting here in silence
Wondering how it got this far.
We could feed ourselves the lies we tell each other
But we know we are both to blame.
Things are not the same.

(Are you listening?)
I, oh, I feel I’ve disappeared.
Now I don’t know where to go from here.
Why do you make it?
Why do you make it
So Impossible?
Impossible to love you.

[SOLO]

(Are you listening?)
I, oh, I feel I’ve disappeared.
Now I don’t know where to go from here.
Why do you make it?
Why do you make it
So Impossible?
Impossible to love you.
To love you now.

I have have told you many times now
“I love you.”
